NOTICE OF CASE CLOSING

     This case arises under Section 405, the employee protection provision, of the Surface
Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 (STAA), 49 U.S.C.A. § 31105 (1994).  On April
22, 1995,
Complainant submitted a letter to the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) withdrawing his
complaint and seeking to have the scheduled hearing cancelled.  On June 1, 1995, the ALJ
issued an Order Of Dismissal which cancelled the hearing and dismissed the matter with
prejudice.  In accordance with the ALJ's order and pursuant to 29 C.F.R. § 1978.111(3),
this case is closed.
